Keep Razors Sharp are Afonso (Sean Riley & The Slowriders), RAI (The Poppers), Bráulio (ex-Capitão Fantasma) and BIBI (Riding Pânico) among others. In 2014, Keep Razors Sharp introduced themselves to the world. They released two singles (I see your face and 9th), hit the stages of the main festivals and ended on a high with the release of their eponymous debut album in October. Well-received by the public and critics, appearing on the vast majority of Best of the Year lists, Keep Razors Sharp continued to spread their love of music the following year, with concerts that stretched from the north to the south of the country. With a sound ranging from psychedelia to shoegaze to post-rock, the band returned in 2018 with a second disc of originals entitled ‘Overcome’. Now, 10 years after their debut, Keep Razors Sharp are back on stage and will be appearing at the Lux Interior Festival. To mark the tenth anniversary of the album ‘Keep Razors Sharp’, Lux Records will be reissuing the long out-of-print record on vinyl. At the same time, the album ‘Overcome’ will also be released on vinyl for the first time. If 2014 was the year of revelation, 2024 will certainly be the year of celebration.
Wipeout Beat is the band of three veterans of the Coimbra music scene. Carlos Dias, Pedro ‘Calhau’ Antunes and Miguel Padilha have their names linked to bands from Coimbra with sounds as diverse as Bunnyranch, Subway Riders, Garbage Catz, A Jigsaw, Objetos Perdidos, among others. In 2018 they made their debut on Lux Records with the album Small Cities Big Thoughts and at the end of 2021 they released Wine Nights Fantastic Stories. Now they are preparing to release their third album of originals and will be presenting the new songs at the Lux Interior Festival. The disc will be released under the Lux Records label.
