In the second half of 2024, we will continue the Café Curto cycle of showcases, which began in October 2020 and has already had more than 150 sessions. On a weekly basis, on Tuesday evenings, the public will be able to enjoy a variety of musical proposals on the stage of the Café Concerto of the Convento São Francisco. Between 3 September and 17 December, there will be 15 performances featuring artists with expressions ranging from the intimacy of folk song, to the experimentalism of electronica, the energy of pop, the boldness of jazz and the unique jazz and the singularity of world music.

Concert as part of the programme for the CORRENTES DE UM SÓ RIO Festival – 7th Edition. Meeting of Song, Fado, Music and Guitars of Coimbra, which takes place from 27 September to 5 October 2024.

Rita Dias, born in Coimbra in 1989, is a singer, songwriter, writer and actress. She has released two albums, ‘com os pés na terra’, in 2013, and ‘Morremos tanto para crescer’, released by Valentim de Carvalho in 2022. Between the two albums, she released the EP ‘Gosto de ti, assim!’ and four singles. In 2018 she competed in the Festival da Canção with the song ‘Com gosto amigo’. She sings her fado and embraces the Portuguese language in different ways, having already published two books of poetry, collaborated with magazines and radio stations, and appeared in theatre plays.
