‘O Arrepio is born from the Poetry of three artists, friends and brothers from the interior of Bahia – the popular region of Litoral Norte/Agreste Baiano. Committed to the right to Dream and to Future, because Ancestry is Future, we – myself, Adrião Filho Arrepio Poético, João Sereno & O Arrepio and Osvaldo Bola – respectfully and humbly seek to make the stage a Potent Ilê. In Gira Afro-diaspórica, we aim to celebrate the transcendental alchemy of Xirê, which is to live well. We move in a sharing of Body-Living.’
