The InstruMensal Festival is an initiative organised by the Coimbra Music Museum Cultural Association, which brings one instrumental music concert a month to Coimbra’s concert halls. In July we invited the artist Luis Peixoto.
Luís Peixoto is one of Portugal’s most creative and virtuoso multi-instrumentalists, with a vast musical career, either solo or accompanying renowned national and international artists. His concert is an acoustic-instrumental journey through traditional Portuguese repertoire side by side with original compositions, emphasising the sound of the mandolin and cavaquinho.
