The Brazilian musician and composer is returning to Europe to celebrate 10 years of his career.
In Coimbra, he will revisit his greatest hits in an intimate concert on the stage of the Salão Brazil.
Born in the Santa Teresa neighbourhood in Rio de Janeiro, he was raised in a monastery in the Serra do Capim (Rio-Bahia), where he lived until he was 16. In 2013, he released “Serviço”, his first album, voted one of the best albums of the year and which led to three European tours. In 2017, he released “Sintoma” and, in 2019, “Sermão”, the final part of a trilogy (Serviço, Sintoma, Sermão).
“Niska: a message for times of emergency” was released in 2021 and brought the discourse of the solar punk movement to the fore, as well as featuring collaborations with singers Duda Beat, Mahmundi and Lazúli, and singer Rubel.
