David Thor Jonsson (Davíð Þór jónsson)
Born in 1978 in Seyðisfjörður (Iceland), he is a pianist, composer, improviser, performance artist and multifaceted musician.
He currently lives and works in Mosfellssveit, Iceland.
Davíð has been playing piano and keyboards since the age of 9 and has been making a career as a musician ever since. He has collaborated with a whole spectrum of artists, from obscure country troubadours to stadium bands, covering all fields of music, both in Iceland and abroad.
Davíð has composed and arranged a great deal of music for theatre, film, art installations, shows and videos of all kinds.
His main goal in music is to never stop his childlike enthusiasm and constant creativity.
He released his first album Rask in 2002 and is currently composing and working on a series of discs of solo piano music.
