British guitarist Remi Harris is an eclectic player with influences in jazz, gypsy jazz, blues and rock. His electrifying playing is inspired by artists such as Django Reinhardt, Peter Green, Wes Montgomery, Led Zeppelin, Gerry Mulligan and Jimi Hendrix.
Since the age of seven Remi has dedicated his life to playing the guitar, although it could be said that music chose him much earlier, when his mother named him after the combination of the 2nd and 3rd notes of the major scale “Do-Re-Mi”.
Remi’s undeniable talent has taken him from the city streets to performing at many prestigious venues and events around the world, including Buckingham Palace, Montreal Jazz Festival, BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Jamie Cullum, and appearing on national radio and television.
Remi Harris is one of the most versatile and virtuoso musicians in history. With streaks of genius, he is able to play different types of guitar and be faithful to countless styles of music. An artist who fits into a separate category, without precedent and without comparison.
