Café Curto | BLUE HOUSE
The ‘Café Curto’ cycle invites the public to sit down to music every Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Café Concerto Coimbra in the Convento São Francisco. This programme is curated by Blue House and supported by Coimbra City Council.

Krake + Cachupa Psicadélica
Krake is the solo project of Pedro Oliveira, a musician who began his career as a drummer in 1995, a few years before joining the band Kafka. He joined Submarine and later Green Machine, a garage-rock band with whom he released several albums. He formed Peixe:Avião and performed with projects such as Old Jerusalem, Osso Vaidoso, Clã and Rui Reininho. In Krake, he explores the drums in an unusual way, transforming the instrument into an improvised experimental music orchestra. This Café Duplo is joined by Cachupa Psicadélica, Lula’s project, born and raised on the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde. To date, he has released two albums, “Último Caboverdiano Triste” (2015) and “Pomba Pardal” (2019), and has also collaborated with artists such as Branko (Buraka Som Sistema), Cristina Branco and Mayra Andrade.
