Café Curto | BLUE HOUSE
The ‘Café Curto’ cycle invites the public to sit down to music every Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Café Concerto Coimbra in the Convento São Francisco. This programme is curated by Blue House and supported by Coimbra City Council.
For full programme 2 April/25 June 2024: see source.
The month of April begins with a Café Curto as part of the Santos da Casa Festival. Singer-songwriter Nuno Melo will be accompanied by Edu Mundu’s voice and drums and João Luzia’s guitar, to present some of the songs that will be part of his first solo album, “Fora de Formato”. The musician from Porto made his debut album in the company of Edu Mundo, in a year in which, despite the pandemic lockdown, they travelled through different musical styles, without wanting to cling to dogmas or labels. The latest single “Polka Dot” is dressed in Lusophone rhythms and adorned with pop language.
