The traditional songs of popular female polyphony – labour songs that have accompanied generations of women, in the fields or at home, to ease their pain and dream of other places of belonging – are given new life in this show, a collective creation by the Coro das Mulheres da Fábrica, with performance moments and video projections and illustrations.
