The ‘Café Curto’ cycle invites the public to sit down to music every Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Café Concerto Coimbra in the Convento São Francisco. This programme is curated by Blue House and supported by Coimbra City Council.

Francisco Fontes

Francisco Fontes entered the music scene as a self-taught drummer, until he took up his solo career at the beginning of 2021 with the release of the EP “Gravidade”. His songs transcend voice and guitar, creating a seemingly ordinary atmosphere where simplicity allows each poem to spread in a perceptive and unique way. “Cosmopolita”, his new album, a collection of songs that portray feelings and stories that take place in the urban space, was released in October 2023 by Lay Down Recordings and presented at Musicbox Lisboa.
