Brad Brose & His Bad Bros (USA) is a New York-based quartet that combines the acoustic sounds of Traditional Hot Jazz and 1930s Jazz Manouche with American Folk and Electric culture.
Led by one of the most respected Gypsy Jazz musicians in the United States, Brad Brose has extensive experience playing festivals all over the world. The guitarist, who lived in Paris and received first-hand the artistic heritage of the Manouche gypsies, is now bringing the roots of Gypsy Jazz into contact with the contagious energy of New York.
Brose plays manouche guitar, electric guitar and banjo, which means that the group can draw inspiration and repertoire from Mexico to France, from gypsy camps to classical orchestras, past and present, as well as from the roots of American Tenesse song and the Lonesome Rangers.
A perfect combination of tradition and modernity, capable of creating unique and totally surprising sounds. For the first time and exclusively, to see and hear at the Django Portugal Festival.
