This concert is based on the biographical and children’s books, as well as stories told first-hand by friends in Coimbra, where the artists in this show and the Catrapum association live. This concert is in partnership with the José Afonso Association and the publisher Barca do Inferno, which illustrated the book ‘Homem da Gaita’, a theme by Zeca Afonso.
Between songs, stories are told of an artist who was fundamental to our democracy and freedom. This is what we’re talking and singing about in this concert, so that the target audience can learn and/or remember the importance of April.
