Next Saturday, 22 March, Liquidambar will host the Djangoland quintet for an evening that recreates the ‘Jazz Manouche’ of the 1930s, inspired by the legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt.
With Cati Silva (vocals), Daniel Crespo (violin), Bruno Neves and José Rebola (guitars), and Miguel Falcão (double bass), Djangoland brings a repertoire that ranges from American jazz classics to French cançonetism, passing through the sonorities of Eastern Europe and with some contemporary touches.
