After his remarkable debut in 2015 with the independent “Cara d’Anjo”, Luís Severo joined Cuca Monga, the label through which he released his second album, the eponymous “Luís Severo”, with Sony Music, which took him to the top of the annual lists of the music and general press and to the most emblematic stages and festivals in the country. In 2019, Luís Severo moves away from what he’s already done and, without ever losing the centre that distinguishes him, releases “O Sol Voltou” (The Sun Is Back), an album that reinforces his status as a consensual name in the songwriting of his generation. “Cedo ou Tarde”, the long-awaited new album, will be released in January 2024.
