Seeking an acoustic sound that creates a certain allusion to classical chamber music, this repertoire welcomes spontaneity and is based on the concept of song.
In the search for a balance between the pre-conceived and the invented, the music thrives on counterpoint, its harmonic product and seeks to be rhythmic, dispensing with its most common protagonist – the drums.
Poetry plays a prominent role and dictates the construction of everything else, being a guiding line for the composition.
‘A system. Respiratory.
Fish gills. The lungs of my body.
It’s a window and it makes air flow, it’s singing at home.
A scale that grows on the body, on the skin and comes off.
Stepping into unknown, unpolluted territory.
And arriving.’
